A Cephalopod Movie Night!

Science Friday is kicking off Cephalopod Week with an evening of talk, tentacles, and merriment.

Science Friday is teaming up with The New York Obscura Society to kick off Cephalopod Week with an evening of talk, tentacles, and merriment.

Come rub elbows with Ira, sip a squid ink cocktail made especially for this evening (if you’re feeling adventurous), and get a chance to see two brand new SciFri cephalopod-themed short films, along with one classic from the SciFri vault. Then, converse with other ceph-heads about these amazing, adaptive, and sometimes creepy creatures as you enjoy scenes of a giant octopus attack from a classic 1950s monster movie.

What: A cephalopod-centric movie night! Tickets are $18 and include admission to this private 21+ event. Libations and nourishment are available for purchase at the bar.

When: June 20th, 7 p.m.-9 p.m.

Where: Sea Witch Tavern, 703 5th Ave., Brooklyn, NY

How: Tickets are limited, so reserve your spot early.
