In this video, meet Katherine Hope, a veterinarian at the Smithsonian's National Zoo in Washington, D.C. She treats about 2,000 animals from 400 different species so there's no such thing as an average day. She maintains the health of the animals in the zoo's collection and also does conservation medicine -- assessing the health of wild animals around the globe.
