The Art of Bleeding is a Los Angeles theater troupe that, according to its founder Al Ridenour, is a “combination first-aid vaudeville-variety show and educational foundation teaching the unconscious.” Your guess is as good as mine on what that means, but their medically-inspired theater is intriguing. They also have an active YouTube channel, where they have posted everything from a music video about swine flu to an instructional video on Halloween safety.
Do I get it? No. Do I like it? Yes. Check out their latest video, an “Anatomy Minute” about the basics of the esophagus. You may just learn something. (You may also just feel very weird about your esophagus’ social life.)
