The Science Friday Book Club is back from spring break, and ready to get some exercise—or at least read about getting some exercise. This month's book club pick is A Walk in the Woods: Rediscovering America on the Appalachian Trail,  Bill Bryson's (reportedly) very funny account of his 1996 hiking trip along the 2,100-mile trail.

Get your copy and get reading. Then break out those four-way stretch, wicking, UV protective, convertible activity pants you've been itching to don, and join us for the next on-air book club meeting on May 31, 2013. We want to know what you thought of the book and hear about your experiences on the trail.
