Taking in the Trash

On today’s show, we’ll talk to Jack Berry and Ollie Gray, the guitarist and drummer, respectively, for The Garbage-Men, a five piece-band of high school kids from the Sarasota, Florida area.

The Garbage-Men make their instruments from, well, just about anything they can find: cereal boxes, yardsticks, buckets, PVC tubing. Their message? Berry says they want to spread the word that recycling means more than just putting your bottles in a container to be picked up once a week. Reduce, reuse, recreate.

Sounds good. Listen for yourself below.
