Meet Hugh Herr, Bionic Innovator and Rock Climber

When he was a teenager, rock climbing prodigy Hugh Herr lost both of his legs to gangrene. After an incredible transformation, he returned to the mountains with smart, bionic limbs—that he designed himself. In the videos below, Hugh describes his groundbreaking work with computer-controlled prosthetic limbs, then answers 10 questions about his life, his legs, and whether or not he could beat up the Six Million Dollar Man.
