Alaska Adventure Begins

Science Friday traveled over 4,000 miles from the New York studio this week to broadcast from Fairbanks, AK. Find out what we’re doing while we’re here.

It took about 20 hours to get to Fairbanks, AK from the New York area. According to the University of Fairbanks, Alaska is about 1/5 the size of the lower 48.
