What is sustainable food?

Every New Yorker knows if you are looking for wholesome, delicious and sustainable food, the Farmers Market at Union Square (sometimes referred to as the Green Market) is the place to go. But what does it mean when we call our food sustainable? TalkingScience talked to some local farmers to find out.
