La era comercial del espacio ha empezado

La nave de la compañía Space X partió en la noche del domingo al lunes hacia la Estación Espacial Internacional, inaugurando así la era comercial del Espacio.
 
En este primer vuelo, el cohete Falcon 9 despegó a las 8:35pm [EST] de Cabo Cañaveral en Florida, EEUU, llevando en su interior materiales para la ISS. Aunque el transporte de astronautas queda todavía lejos -según fuentes de NASA- este ha sido un paso decisivo en esa dirección. Un paso que, tras la "jubilación" del pograma de transbordadores espaciales, parece la solución más sencilla para la continuación de la exploración espacial.
Por ahora, los 500 kilogramos de comida, ropa, equipamiento y experimentos se espera que lleguen a la Estación hoy y que regrese a finales de este mes.
