Regulation Reform and Food Safety

The Senate is considering a regulation reform bill that could have broad implications for food safety. If the measure is approved, it may be harder to raise standards for food inspection. How will this affect public health? Will there be more incidents of illness from bacteria such as e-coli and salmonella as some claim?
