State of the Environment
Now that it's been 25 years since the first Earth Day, it's a good time to assess the progress made on environmental issues since 1970. Are most environmental problems---from pollution to acid rain to toxic waste--not really as severe as some pessimists would have us believe? In this hour: a debate on the state of the environment--a cause for joy or concern?
