> December 20, 1996 The Leakey Legacy Mary Leakey died last week, leaving behind a legacy of fossils. Along with her late husband Louis, and son, Richard, Mary was responsible for the discovery of tools, bones and footprints that have helped define our understanding of our early human ancestors. In this hour of Science Friday, we'll explore the Leakey Legacy and some new findings in the search for human origins.
