Brain Cancer Gene/Air Quality Standards

Two teams of scientists have found a gene that plays a role in the most lethal form of brain cancer. We'll talk about that discovery and what it might mean in this hour. We'll also talk about the E.P.A.'s proposed changes in air quality standards. Canada thinks they're too lenient. Legislators in Maryland, by contrast, have made it clear that they're not willing to meet the existing standards, let alone the proposed, more stringent, measures.
