So-called combination therapies used to combat AIDS have been touted as a much-needed answer to the perplexing question of how to treat HIV infection. New studies support the treatments, showing that the drugs nearly wipe out HIV in the blood and tonsils. But how far can drugs go? Will they ever be a cure?
