Science is Fun:
Beyond "Significant Results" and "Recent Findings".

Science may be important. It may be interesting. It may be crucial to our continued life on this planet. But is it fun?

After being bombarded with a few hundred stories that say "Scientists announced this week findings that may support the theory that...prestigious journal... significant results...but more research is needed," it's sometimes good to step back and look at a lighter side of science. Not false science, or silly science, but accessible science -- attempts to pull science out of the realm of dusty textbooks and sterile white lab coats and give it life and vibrancy.

On this hour of Science Friday, play around with Ira and his guests as they take a look at ways to make science fun.
