> May 21, 1999: Hour Two: Kary Mullis Revisited
Several months ago, we spoke to Nobel Laureate Kary Mullis about biology, science, and life for an all-too-short half hour. That segment generated a lot of phone calls. Some callers were pleased with the segment, some weren't.... but none of them were bored. And so, by popular demand, on this hour of Science Friday we'll be talking to Kary Mullis again. We'll go wherever the conversation leads, from the joys of California surf to the invention of the polymerase chain reaction.
Guests: Kary Mullis 1993 Nobel Laureate in Chemistry Author, "Dancing Naked in the Mind Field" (Pantheon) Vice President for Molecular Biology and Member of the Board of Directors Burstein Laboratories Irvine, California
