Hour One: Cyber Security / Stem Cell Advance

Last week, two government websites were attacked by groups threatening violence against Americans.(see a copy of one of the defacements, made to a NOAA site) This week the CERT Coordination Center, a computer security information group based at Carnegie Mellon University, endured a denial of service attack -- and the FBI announced it was restructuring to be better able to respond to terrorism and cyber crime.

How vulnerable are private and government computers? And has the threat changed since September eleventh? In this hour of Science Friday, the talk turns to cyberspace security.

Plus, new progress in turning stem cells into brain cells.
