Hour Two: 'Love
at Goon Park' / Holiday Book Reviews
Though the name 'Harry Harlow' isn't well known to most people, the
images produced by his research are: the pictures in many psychology
texts of captive monkeys seeking comfort froms either metal or terry-cloth
covered 'artificial mothers.' In this hour, Ira talks with Deborah
Blum, author of "Love at Goon Park,' a new book about Harlow,
and with primatologist Frans de Waal.
Plus, we'll run down our annual holiday list of some of the year's
notable science books. (Dec
