Hour One:Global
Warming: EPA Predictions/Chronic Wasting Disease
A report written by the Environmental Protection Agency verifies
that the US will be severely impacted by global warming and climate
change. It details what kinds of changes can be expected in different
parts of the U.S. but did not call on the nation to rapidly respond
with mandatory measures to cut greenhouse gases such as carbon
dioxide. What would be the impact of global warming, economically
speaking, if no intense efforts are taken to curb the release
of greenhouse gases? What might be the economic effects of cutting
down on greenhouse gases? Is it too late?
Also, a mysterious disease is killing deer and elk in the
midwest. Chronic Wasting Disease
