Hour One: Mars Probes / Birding
In this hour of Science Friday, we'll check in on the staus of the
European Space Agency's Mars probe Mars Express (and lander Beagle
2), scheduled to land on the Red Planet on Christmas day -- but as
yet unheard from. We'll also look ahead to a US probe, named Spirit,
following close behind.
Plus, pull on your gloves, wrap that scarf a bit tighter, and grab
your binoculars -- this hour brings our annual winter birding extravaganza.
Call in with your questions and comments at 1-800-989-8255 (2-3
Eastern), and share your opinions online in our Listeners' Lounge (registration required).
