| Wind power is gaining speed in the US, powering
the equivalent of a million-plus households. In fact, ranchers
in some areas of the country are finding revenue from wind power
a welcome addition to their agricultural incomes. But while they're
celebrating the first Native American owned wind turbine in South
Dakota, plans to bring offshore windmills to Nantucket Sound have
been met with stiff resistance. |
