Hour Two: Albert
Einstein
This week, an archive of Albert Einstein's writings on topics including
politics, travel and science goes on-line. The documents join numerous
new books that delve deep into the scientist's life. All are in anticipation
of 2005, the hundred-year anniversary of what is called Einstein's
'miracle year' -- the year in which, at age 26, he published four
groundbreaking scientific papers, including one featuring the famous
formula connecting energy, mass, and the speed of light.
In this hour of Science Friday, we'll take a look at the life and
work of Albert Einstein. Call in with your questions and comments
at 1-800-989-8255, and share your opinions online in our Listeners' Lounge (registration required).
