Hour Two: Stardust Comet Rendezvous / 2003 In Review

From health stories such as mad cow, SARS, and the flu, to the mystery of dark energy and tragedy of the Columbia shuttle disaster--what were the big science stories of 2003? In this hour, we'll look back at the science stories that made headlines, as well as talk about some of the stories that didn't make the front page.

Plus, the spacecraft Stardust is set to fly through a comet's tail on Friday, in a mission to obtain a sample of comet tail material. We'll talk with the scientist in charge of Stardust, live from the NASA-JPL control room.
