Hour One: Diabetes News/ Heart Disease Update

Can taking vitamin E actually make heart disease worse? A new study, presented at a meeting of the American Heart Association this week, suggests that may be the case. In this hour of Science Friday, we'll get an update on that study, and other news from the meeting, including the latest in drug therapy, new blood pressure guidelines, and a mesh bag that slips around an ailing heart. (questions about the mesh bag can be directed to info@acorncv.com.)

Plus, we'll find out about a recently discovered form of RNA and its role in diabetes. Call in with your questions and comments at 1-800-989-8255 (2-3 Eastern).
