Dr. Cynda Crawford is an assistant scientist. She received her D.V.M. from UF in 1989 and her Ph.D. in immunology/medical microbiology in 1984. Dr. Crawford practiced veterinary medicine for several years in Tallahassee prior to returning to UF as the Charlie Bild VIP in 1997. While in Tallahassee, she served as director of the Delta Society's Pet Partner's Program for several years with her chapter receiving the "community service group of 1997" award from the Delta Society. She also served as president of the Greyhound Rescue of Tallahassee organization for seven years. Prior to her appointment on the faculty, Dr. Crawford was a postdoctoral associate at UF.
