Each year, dozens of worthy science books are released -- some you may never have heard of. In this hour, we'll beat the bushes looking for some of the year's best books on science, medicine, the environment, and technology. Call in with your suggestions. Books discussed

Then, it's a guide to some highlights for wintertime stargazing. The Geminid meteor shower is forecast to reach its peak Dec 13 and 14th. Also, visible in the early morning on December 10th, Jupiter, Mercury, and Mars will all be visible in an unusually tight grouping in the sky.
