'Evo-devo' -- short for 'evolutionary developmental biology' -- is a relatively new field of study that aims to explain how so many different life forms emerged from just a handful of genes. In this hour, we'll talk with leading evo-devo scientist, Sean B. Carroll, about his line of work.
Plus, a new study says exercise can lower your risk of developing dementia. While other studies have tied frequent mental exercise to helping keep the brain fit, this study looks at the effects of physical exertion. We'll find out more. Plus, a look at how wildlife biologists are tracking cougars via a virus.Call in with your questions and comments at 1-800-989-8255 (2-3 Eastern).
