Low
Carbon Life

This Saturday, April 14th, environmental groups around the country are taking part in a 'National Day of Climate Action" -- a series of rallies and educational efforts aimed at spurring Congressional action on the topic of climate change. In this hour, Ira talks with guests about getting the message about greenhouse gas emissions across, and looks at steps that individuals can take to reduce their personal carbon footprints.
Plus, we'll get a new look at some old bone. Researchers report this week in the journal Science that they've been able to sequence some remnants of collagen proteins extracted from a fossil Tyrannosaurus rex bone. We'll talk about the efforts, and what they could teach researchers about dinosaurs and their more modern relatives.Call in with your questions and comments at 1-800-989-8255 (2-3 Eastern).
