New Biography Focuses On Einstein's Creativity (broadcast Friday, July 6th, 2007)
Why does Einstein, who died more than 50 years ago, continue to fascinate us? Join Ira in this hour of Science Friday for a talk with Walter Isaacson, former head of Time and CNN, about his new biography of Einstein. Isaacson is also author of one of the leading biographies of Benjamin Franklin. In his new biography of Einstein, Isaacson argues that it was Einstein's creativity, not mathematical genius, that led him to his great discoveries.
