New FCC Rules Give Consumers More Choice
This week the FCC announced that it would require companies vying to use one part of the radio spectrum to allow any device running any software to access it. Later this year, wireless companies will bid on a portion of the 700 megahertz band of the radio spectrum. In this hour, we'll look at the decision to require a certain amount of open access to that band, and what it could mean for wireless technology.
