Can Google go green? This week, web giant Google announced a new project that aims to support the development of various alternative energy technologies to eventually make them cheaper than coal. Key technologies targeted in the effort, nicknamed RE<C, will include advanced solar thermal power, wind power technologies, and enhanced geothermal systems. In this segment, Ira talks with the 'alternative energy czar' for Google about the company's plan to give a boost to green energy solutions.
