Alzheimer's Research
A much-touted experimental Alzheimer's medication has failed to help patients in clinical trials -- while another drug, one that aims at unknotting the 'tangles' that characterize the brains of people with Alzheimer's seems to show promise. In this segment, we'll get the latest on research into Alzheimer's and the search for treatments for the disease. One study says statin drugs, such as those used to treat high cholesterol, may help Alzheimer's patients too.
