In academic circles, citations are a measure of success. Every published scientific paper cites the papers that it is connected to or builds on -- and while citations aren't the only measure of a paper's importance or influence, citations are carefully tracked and tallied. In this segment, We'll take a look at some of the most-cited scientific research of the year, and talk about why those oft-cited papers were significant. We'll also find out what journal articles have risen to the ranks of the 'modern classics,' becoming some of the most-cited of all time.
