AAAS President Peter Agre
Ira talks with Peter Agre, a Nobel laureate and the incoming president of the American Association for the Advancement of Science, about the intersection of science and public policy. In 2003, Agre shared the Nobel Prize in Chemistry for his discovery of aquaporins. He heads the Malaria Research Institute at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, and has been known for being politically outspoken.
