'The Strangest Man,' Paul Dirac (broadcast Friday, October 2nd, 2009)

Non-physicists have probably heard of Erwin Schrödinger -- but fewer will recognize the name of Paul Dirac, the physicist who shared the Nobel Prize with Schrödinger for work in atomic theory. His work describes the quantum behavior of particles such as electrons -- and served to predict the existence of the positron before its discovery. In this segment, Ira talks with Graham Farmello, author of a new biography of Dirac.
