Gulf Oil Spill: Ecological Effects
Tweet |
| With landfall of the oil slick from the Deepwater Horizon oil spill imminent, we'll talk about the oil's potential effects on the local ecosystem. While the spill's potential effects on commercial fish and shrimp operations have received a good deal of attention, the accident has the potential to affect organisms up and down the food chain in the Gulf. We'll get a status update, and talk about the interconnected nature of life in the Gulf ecosystem. |
