How do plants grow in the land of the midnight sun? Science Friday visited a greenhouse in Denali National Park to find out what it takes to grow a garden in Alaska. We spoke with Debra Rich, greenhouse technician and grounds keeper at Camp Denali, about her greenhouse. Find out how to garden on permafrost and make dirt in the tundra. Thanks to Knife Crazy for the song "An Homage to Ants for all the Hard Work that They Do" from their album "Delicious Delicious Science."
