Braddock Bay, on the southern shore of Lake Ontario, is a prime pit stop for migrating birds. In a converted hot dog stand near the Bay, ornithologists and volunteers capture, study and release about 10,000 migrants a year. David Bonter, ornithologist at Cornell Lab of Ornithology and vice president of Braddock Bay Bird Observatory, explains what can be learned from the songbirds. Production assistance from Christopher Intagliata. Produced by Flora Lichtman. Viewed 6924 times.
