Host and Executive Producer Ira Flatow

Ira Flatow is the host and executive producer of Science Friday. He is a veteran science correspondent in a variety of media. More about Ira

Senior Producer Annette Heist

Annette has most likely researched, edited, written, or had to take responsibility for something you have heard on Science Friday in the last nine years. She's most interested in stories about biology, including everything from medicine to evolution.

Producer Christopher Intagliata

Christopher produces an hour of the show each week. His favorite part of the job is learning about all kinds of new science every week from the people who do it, whether it's nanotubes or tuna tagging, synthetic biology or space.

Sci-Arts Producer Shelley DuBois

Shelley specializes in the intersection of science and the arts, from musical notes to comic books that teach physics.

Director/Contributing Producer Charles Bergquist

Charles reminds Ira when it's time to stop talking, chooses the music you hear on the program, manages this web site, and produces segments for the radio program. His favorite stories involve chemistry, inventions, nanotechnology, and shiny things with blinking lights.

Producer for Digital Media Flora Lichtman

Flora produces content for the Science Friday website and sometimes doubles as Ira Flatley in Second Life. She is especially interested in stories related to squirrels and materials science.
