Lia Betti

Dr. Lia Betti is an associate professor in the department of Anthropology at University College London, UK.  Her research explores the origins of human adaptations and of modern human skeletal morphology, including how climate adaptations and prehistoric population movements contributed to shaping human variation across the world. One of her research themes is the evolution of the human pelvis and related childbirth difficulties, and how human birth differs from birth in other primates.
