Dr. Devaki Bhaya is Senior Staff Scientist at the Carnegie Institution for Science (Division of Biosphere Sciences and Engineering) located at Stanford and Professor, by courtesy, at the Department of Biology, Stanford University. Devaki got her Ph.D. from Cornell University in Plant Biochemistry, and joined the Carnegie Institution in 2001. Dr. Bhaya works primarily on photosynthetic cyanobacteria, an ancient and environmentally crucial group of microbes.
