Workshop: Putting The “A” In STEAM
Blend creativity with science, engineering and math through interactive projects and digital art in this free workshop.
When: Saturday, February 22, 2025 from 1:00 to 2:30pm ET
Where: Live on Zoom
Tickets: FREE! RSVP required.
Join Science Friday and STEM Educator Tiffany Lucey on a fun adventure exploring arts integration across the disciplines. This cameras-on, hands-on, minds-on workshop will guide you through activities that pair fine arts with mathematics, science, and engineering. You’ll launch bears in space and design pictographs, use Scratch programming to create interactive digital art, and bust out some dance for a musical story of climate change. Then, you’ll work with your fellow educators to combine theatre, language arts, and engineering skills to enact an original scene. All projects can be leveled for learners in grades 3-12 and adapted for a variety of learning spaces.
