Don’t Miss This Comet!

PanSTARRS should be visible to the naked eye.

Perhaps a once-in-a-lifetime treat—seeing a comet with the naked eye—may come twice this year. Comet PanSTARRS is already on display in the southern hemisphere, where it is showing up beautifully around sunset. It should be arriving to a sky near you in just a few days.

Here are some great pix of the comet and how to see it.

This comet may be just the warm-up for later in the year when ISON is scheduled to pass by and be even more spectacular. One never knows, though, how these predictions turn out. So get your PanSTARRS on, now.
