Anderson Feijó is the Assistant Curator of Mammals at the Field Museum of Natural History in Chicago, where he studies how mammals evolve, diversify, and adapt to their environments. He has studied armadillos for more than 15 years and recently described a new armadillo species. Anderson also investigates how past climatic events have shaped today’s biodiversity, and he uses that knowledge to identify the species and regions most at risk and to guide conservation priorities and policy.
