Aurélie Muntzel was Science Friday’s Audience Engagement Intern, where she learned to foster excitement and engagement with the show’s vibrant community. She is a passionate podcast listener and advocate for the power of good storytelling.

She has family spread across the globe, and loves to pay them visits (but the more she travels, the more it affirms her bias towards NYC). As an NYC native, Aurélie can be found on any given Sunday walking from dusk to dawn exploring various neighborhoods with some food in hand.

She majored in English Literature and Global Studies at Binghamton University where she fell in love with absurdist humor, and currently attends the Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism at CUNY. Ask her about capybaras.
