Dave Vernier is still programming and working on new science labs at Vernier Software & Technology, which makes sensors, software, and equipment for science teachers in high schools and colleges. The company has been on the list of Best Companies to Work for in Oregon for 20 years. He is currently a member of the board of Oregon Public Broadcasting and several other non-profit boards and foundations. He is a former chair of the board of the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry. He and his wife own a vineyard and they both are runners and hikers. Dave is also a struggling musician.
