Science Friday

Jason Rosenberg is a Grants Manager at Science Friday. A proud resident of Philadelphia, Jason spent many years fundraising in the arts and cultural sector there, working in theater, dance, and the visual arts. They come to Science Friday from the Barnes Foundation, where they managed the prospect research efforts for the museum’s fundraising team. They have also worked as a grant writer with The Wilma Theater and FringeArts. They began their career in health and human services, working with Help Hope Live to raise money for their community fundraising program for medical needs. They have a BFA in Playwriting from the University of the Arts.

In their free time, Jason is an avid reader and writer of poetry and also loves theater, museums, weird performance art, and documentaries about bugs and space. They are a passionate advocate for disability inclusion and accessibility, and look forward to helping Science Friday increase access to high quality, free science journalism for all.
