Dr. Mike Childers is an Associate Professor of History at Colorado State University, where he studies the environmental impacts of outdoor recreation. He is the author of two books: Colorado Powder Keg: Ski Resorts and the Modern Environmental Movement and, most recently, The Mountains Are Calling: Tourists and the Unmaking of Yosemite National Park.
