Science Friday 25th Anniversary Gala
Saturday, October 15, 2016
7PM – 11PM
Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum
For 25 years, Science Friday has introduced scientists, entrepreneurs, inventors, and researchers to public radio listeners and science fans alike. We’ve brought listeners some brilliant and engaging conversations with some of the greatest scientific minds of our lifetime.
To commemorate this incredible journey, we invite you to join us at Science Friday’s 25th Anniversary Gala in New York City. This special night will take place at the historic Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum on Saturday, October 15, 2016 from 7PM – 11PM. The evening promises to be a spectacular celebration of Science Friday’s rich record, with special guests like Alan Alda, Steve Strogatz, Brian Greene, and Eric Kandel, among many, many others.
We will also take a moment to present the Catalyst Prize for Philanthropic Impact in the Sciences to Ann Bowers of the Noyce Foundation, the Science Friday Accelerator Prize, which recognizes innovation in science and technology to geneticist and entrepreneur Craig Venter, and the Vanguard Prize for Leadership in Discovery and Research to inventor Dean Kamen. All of our honorees have worked to build a scientifically literate society, and we are excited to present them with these honors.
To secure tickets, reserve a table package, or order a journal slide for this once-in-a-lifetime celebration, download this form or order online.
