Put Down Your Phone, Give Your Brain a Break

Since the debut of smartphones, we’ve been able to obliterate moments of boredom by flicking through Facebook, Candy Crush-ing, or reading the news. But that may not be a good thing, say Manoush Zomorodi and Alex Goldmark, of the podcast New Tech City. Indeed, some studies suggest that letting the mind wander spurs creativity and contemplation. Is it time to rethink our relationship with our phones and bring back boredom?
